Ellis Puppy Policy

At Ellis Yorkies, we are dedicated to connecting you with your perfect furry companion. Our team of experienced professionals ensures that every puppy is well-cared for and ready to join your family. We have a strict policy in place to guarantee the health and happiness of our puppies. When purchasing a puppy, a deposit is required to reserve your chosen one. Rest assured, at Ellis Yorkies, your new family member is in good hands.

Ellis Health Guarantee

At Ellis Yorkies, we take pride in our pups, caring for each one as if were our own. Our goal is to provide you with healthiest puppy to bring home. Each pup is dewormed as recommended and will receive their first round of vaccinations before rehoming. They undergo a thorough evaluation by a licensed veterinarian and will only be released to their new owner after receiving clearance. A summary of each pup's health record will be included in their care package, and we encourage you to follow up with your preferred veterinarian to ensure your new furry friend continues to thrive and stay healthy.

Health Guarantee Coverage

To be eligible for a replacement puppy under our health guarantee, the following conditions must be met:

  • A written diagnosis from a licensed, independent veterinarian must be submitted, clearly stating the presence of a hereditary or genetic condition that will significantly shorten the puppy’s lifespan.

  • This report must be accompanied by the veterinarian’s contact information and submitted directly to Ellis Yorkies.

  • In the unfortunate event of a puppy’s passing, an autopsy report from a licensed veterinarian must confirm that a genetic defect was the cause of death. A full report and veterinarian contact details are required.

Please note: Ellis Yorkies is not responsible for any veterinary or diagnostic expenses incurred by the buyer.

These are not considered grounds for replacement and are treatable with veterinary support
